There is plenty of entertainment including the two live theatre companies that make their homes here. The Coronado Playhouse is the county’s oldest and the Lamb’s Players Theatre is the third largest in San Diego.
Coronado is known as Coronado Island because of its location on a tombolo and island that is connected to the mainland. This city relies on its tourism and features three major resorts; Loews Coronado Bay Resort, Coronado Island Marriott, and Hotel Del Coronado.
